The “Half Fast” is a 35 foot, fiberglass, diesel powered fishing machine! She has all the latest navigational and fish finding equipment.
Safety is our primary concern followed closely by your comfort and ability to catch fish. We specialize in 6 person charters for Cod, Porgy, Tuna, and a number of other species. Check out this site, and if something looks good or you need more information please give Captain Rick a call.

COD. Perhaps best known for great Cod fishing the Half Fast plies the waters of Stellwagon Bank, The Great South Channel and beyond.

May and June is PORGY time! Huge porgies up to 5 lbs, plus lots of Sea Bass, Blackfish, and more.

Summer and Fall - it’s time to catch Bluefin TUNA We target medium fish ( from 47-74 inches) but there are plenty of fish over 800 lbs. And you can combine a tuna trip with bottom fishing for double the excitement.

OTHER types of fishing include: SHARKS, like this 700lb Thresher, STRIPERS, BLUES, FLUKE, plus we do half day local trips for kids, and whale watching, bachelor parties, just about anything you would like to do on the water, we do it.
